Just Just InJoy Counseling, is your trusted guide on your path to healing and optimum behavioral health. Whether you’re a woman braving a solo journey of your own or you’re a couple learning how to reach a particular destination on a shared path.
Resilience. Perseverance. Transparency. Verline Gaddis is a female, African American Licensed Clinical Social Worker who not only embodies these impactful traits but uses them as tools to help other women rise above their own circumstances and commit to standing boldly and unapologetically in their own perfectly imperfect truth.
Verline holds a Master of Social Work from the Loyola University of Chicago, a Master of Education Leadership from Concordia University Chicago, and has over 18 years of experience in social work. She is no stranger to struggle and has first-hand knowledge on how to turn trials to triumph. Uncensored and resourceful yet caring and empathetic, she now seeks to serve women like the woman she used to be; women starting over, processing grief, struggling with motherhood, or the “CEO of Everything” and taking care of everyone but themselves.
She supports them through challenging life transitions by increasing stress management skills, creating healthy work/life integration, and working on inner child issues. With a very direct approach that encourages her clients to take responsibility for themselves and break out of limited ways of thinking, she asks them, “How do you show up for yourself?” and reminds them “fear cannot be trusted but you can.”
