HOW THERAPY WORKS
Let's Chat
The first session is a 60-minute diagnostic evaluation where she gets to know you by asking questions about what brings you in, family information, life concerns, and overall background information. You all may dive further into things you shared in your consultation or start wherever you feel most comfortable.
First Appointment
The general session is 50-60 minutes in length. Therapy style is conversational but also direct and she will ask clarifying questions if needed. When learning coping/self-care skills, those are experiential, meaning you will practice with me before doing this alone.
Ongoing Sessions
Remember you decide what you want to share, but in sharing the things that we have been attempting to hide or numb ourselves to, we can move forward. She is here to act as a guide along your clinical journey.
